From the lands of Matilde to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park

A little big adventure back in time, biking through castles, villages and breathtaking landscapes.
An unique journey to be enjoyed,
either alone or with friends,
in a corner of Italy waiting to be discovered.
This area has been recently declared
a biosphere reserve by Unesco:
get on your bike and come to see it for yourself.

NO RACE, NO WINNER, NO TIME
This is not a race, there isn’t a time limit and the only winners will be you and your bike.

SELF-SUFFICIENCY
You will be the one deciding how many km to ride in a day, when and where to stop, to sleep and eat.

THE 7 WONDERS
The only thing required is that you will need to pass through  the 7 chosen Points of Interests (P.O.I),  some  wonderful places  which will let you fall in love with this piece of land between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.

FREE ROUTE
We will provide you a GPS track with a suggested route to reach each stop;   you can follow it or choose your own itinerary, whether you prefer  unpaved roads or off-roards.

HOW TO REACH US

Scandiano is near a lot of big cities of the north and center Italy: 60 km from Bologna, 35 km from Parma, 20 km from Modena, 13 km from Reggio Emilia, 160km from Milian, 9okm from Ferrara, 155km from Florence and 95km from Verona.

by car: Motorway A1,  coming from Milian take the exit Reggio Emilia; after the tool booth follow the signs to Reggio Emilia centre/Sassuolo/Scandiano.
Coming from Bologna, exit at Modena nord, take the Via Emilia with direction Milan and follow the signs for Reggio Emilia/Rubiera/Scandiano.
by train: Both coming from north or south, get off at Reggio Emilia station; from there you can either take the regional train  line Reggio Emilia-Sassuolo and get off at the Scandiano stop or use the buses. (bus info :www.actre.it)

By plane:from Bologna airport (www.bologna-airport.it) take the Motorway A1 or take the train getting off at Reggio Emilia station From Milan airport(www.sea-aeroportimilano.it) take the Motorway A1 or take the train getting off a Reggio Emilia station. treno con fermata Reggio Emilia, oppure autostrada A1.
